I've Been Tagged

I've been tagged by Shiez....shiiessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss urgh

OK, here is how you play this game:
  1. Link to your original tagger and list these rules in your post.
  2. Share seven facts about yourself in the post.
  3. Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names and links to their blogs. (see lah if i rajin!)
  4. Let them know they’ve been tagged.
  5. Let your tagger know you've completed the meme. (I copied this list of five things I need to do and what the hell is MEME??!?!??!?)
OK, now for the boring part

1. I'm currently in Australia (some people still don't know where I am) doing a postgraduate degree in Applied Linguistics.

2. I love playing the piano. Yes, people whom I know listen to me rattle about how much I hate it but my fingers yearn to touch the keys and make beautiful and ugly music.

3. I am turning 23 this August and I feel like I still have too much that I want to do before hitting 30 - considering another undergraduate degree; volunteering for language researches at some remote island/jungle; WORKING/etc. - jeez daron who's rushing you to settle down (THIS IS AN UNCONTROLLABLE REACTION TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO ARE TYING THE KNOT)

4. A stereotype boy isn't supposed to like shopping but I simply LOVE it. I'm special.

5. I'm a bit torn right now because I know I can produce better English/Malay but I simply can't. I am afraid I have reached the phase where everything I know is fossilized and learning new input would be difficult.

6. Reaction to #5 - I am born bilingual. Thanks to parents-talk/caretakers-talk. I believe most of you who read my blog are bilinguals/multilinguals (polyglots) as well.

7. You know how we are given ID numbers at school; house numbers (address)... okay I like many numbers, one of them is the number '26.' In my final year in primary school I was student number 26 in my class; I was living in a tent called Charlie 26 with 9 other guys when I was in National Service, and now I'm living at house number 26, here in Jesmond, Newcastle, NSW, Australia, Earth, the Universe.

7 lucky victims?

nah.... I'm not gonna tag anyone :P hihihihihi sorry

spinning in my head

It's Saturday night/Sunday morning. I should be asleep right now but weekends only happen on weekends. This Sabbath was quite interesting. The church pastor will be talking about Sabbath-keeping throughout the Sabbaths of this month. He mentioned the necessity of saying "No!" to requests. That's a skill I have yet to master. Another point he brought up was that the Sabbath is meant for communion with friends, family, and God. Well, some people will have to take that seriously. A few updates for this week, I think you know that I have rearranged the room, and I am on the verge of buying some traditional-Thai looking furniture/items to fill the room up. Don't ask me why I'm buying these things when I'm close to leaving. Yes, I've started using this traditional face wash and cream. Many of my friends are using it and it has proven worth trying. Look at the blue!! What's in the lamp? What's in the book? What are you looking at? Zits galore. Pls pe...

BAREFOOTERS love DUMPLINGS

Yes, that’s the name of the singing group I’m in.  Me and a bunch of friends started singing a couple of years back.  Members have gone and come… gosh don’t get me started I WANT TO CRY…sobs. Here are some pictures of practices we have.  We believe in having food and fun during practice time.  You know how vocalists emphasize the activeness of bridge between our eyes during singing and vocalization/warm-ups. We, instead of looking silly with crazy eyes while singing, opt for another type of stimulant… DONE prior to practice.  DUMPLINGS!!!! I’m so going to miss these beautiful people.

i want to go to these places in january
